Breckenridge is two hours West of Denver.

A shuttle service is available directly to and from Denver as a potential alternative to rentals, as well as a free public “Main Street Trolley” that services a portion of Breckenridge.

Hiking & Walking with Mountain Views

Easy:

Sawmill Reservoir - beautiful and easy walk with parking available or shuttle

Blue Lakes Trailhead - 20 minute drive out of Breckenridge. No hike required. Steep drive up but doable (even in our Prius). Upper and Lower Lake has two parking lots. You may even see some mountain goats!

Medium:

Spruce Creek Trail to Continental Falls to Mohawk Lake

Aspen Alley - you can start at Sawmill and hike up or you can drive/shuttle up Boreas Pass and walk down
